I forgot my master password. Can you reset it?
No. Dashpass uses zero-knowledge encryption — we never have access to your master password or your data. If you forget your master password, your encrypted data cannot be recovered. This is by design for your security.
Is my data safe on your servers?
Yes. All data is encrypted with AES-256-GCM on your device before it leaves your browser. Our servers only store ciphertext. Even if our servers were compromised, your data would remain unreadable without your master password.
Why does the extension need access to all websites?
Dashpass needs to detect login forms on any website you visit so it can offer autofill. It only activates on pages with login forms and never reads or transmits any page content beyond form field values you explicitly choose to save.
How do I import passwords from another manager?
Export your data as CSV from your current password manager (e.g., Dashlane, LastPass, 1Password). Then go to Dashpass Dashboard → Settings → Import from Dashlane and select your CSV files. All imported data is encrypted with your master password.
The autofill doesn't work on a specific site. What do I do?
Some sites use non-standard login forms that may not be detected automatically. Email us at [email protected] with the site URL and we'll add support for it in the next update.
Does Dashpass work on mobile?
The web dashboard at diyguillo.com works on mobile browsers. A dedicated mobile app is planned for a future release.
